Greenhouse needed their brand to reflect their transition from a specialist pr consultancy to a sustainable and mission-focused, integrated communications agency. To get to a new identity we needed to get to know the business inside and out; interviewing employees, clients and industry peers and facilitated workshops with key stakeholders.
We discovered that Greenhouse’s website had steadily grown over 12 years, both in terms of organic visitors, but also in physical size, with multiple iterations of pages and a huge library of almost daily blog posts. This unmanaged growth came at a cost to website performance, and ultimately website sustainability.
We worked with Greenhouse to uncover some truly unique qualities that differentiated their offering and positioned them strongly within the market. A flexible brand identity that was rooted in ‘patterns’ from the natural world, their ‘people’ and ‘perspective, allowed us to connect the agency directly to the gamechangers – those businesses and individuals that are committed to developing solutions that scale and positively impact our world.
The website project gave the team the opportunity to make positive changes too! Together, we explored low carbon impact development through speed optimisation, planet-friendly web hosting and conscious UX and design.
