Last year, MND Scotland celebrated fighting back for 40 years. However, even with continued sponsorship and support from well-known names like Hearts FC, they’d only seen a 6% increase in awareness by the general public over the past year.
So with a new proposition and a clear vision, the team at MND Scotland were positive that a brand refresh would mark a renewal of their focus, drive and determination to improve lives and make lasting change.
Refreshing a 40 year-old brand (especially, one with such a synonymous symbol) was not a simple undertaking and together with the team, we navigated this change with care.
By using the hand symbol we have created a clear brand message demonstrating support and taking a stand against Motor Neuron Disease. A key differentiator of the charity.
We translated the identity into a brand-new website, with improved functionality for fundraisers and the people MND Scotland support. We also launched brand-new merchandise including a football shirt featured on FIFA 2023, with much more to come!
